Lite om PP Waldenström - Vilhelmina Missionskyrka
Paul Peter Waldenström (1838-1917). This Lutheran-minister-turned-Pietist-evangelist was a figure of controversy in his day, prompting a variety of conflicting interpretations among his friends and foes alike. As a result, he has also been problematic for historians to sort out. This essay will shed light on the conflicts and confluence of Paul Petter Waldenström, känd som P.P. Paul Petter Waldenström (alternately spelled "Paul Peter") (20 July 1838 – 14 July 1917) was a Swedish theologian who became the most prominent leader of the free church movement in late 19th century Sweden. Two of the most influential and widely-read authors of this period were the Swedish preachers, Carl Olof Rosenius (1816-1868) and Paul Peter Waldenström (1838-1917), who became household names through their immensely popular devotional journal Pietisten ("The Pietist").
